The tubular coal mill is mainly used for pulverizing various hardness coal in thermal power plants, which is high adaptable, reliable operation and easy maintenance.
The tubular coal mill is driven by motor which rotate the tube through the rod-pin coupling, cylinder gear reducer and open big gear decelerating to drive. The grinding medium (steel ball) is filled in the tube of mill. When the tube is rotating the steel ball is lifted to a certain height by the centrifugal force and friction force, and then falls down by its own gravity. The coal inside tube is knocked and grinded by the falling steel ball. The coal pulverized is blown by the pneumatic equipment into the boiler for combustion or coal bunker for storage.
The static and dynamic lubrication is that the high-low pressure oil pump is also started simultaneously before the coal mill starts. In the critical situation the oil flow with high pressure enters the shaft through the hydrostatic pipeline, and float-lifts the coal mill rotation part to form the oil film on the shaft in order to improve the lubrication when the coal mill starts. When oil flow is continuously supplied by the low pressure after the coal mill starts the dynamic pressure lubrication is realized. The high pressure oil pump stop working after the mill normally rotates for 2-3 minutes, the shaft of coal mill is lubricated relay on the low pressure dynamic pressure lubricating.
The tubular coal mill is equipped with jacking device, screen unloading ball device and slow transmission device in which the screen unloading ball device is used for periodically screening and unloading steel ball, the slow transmission device is used when the tube liner is changed and overhauled. The full complete of auxiliary part supply can easily satisfy with the maintenance and overhaul for the coal mill. The auxiliary parts can be ordered separately as per the user’s requirements.
The coal mill is classified as medium storage type and direct-fired type. The direct-fired coal mill is the double inlet and double outlet tubular coal mill and the module of this kind is BBD.
